> Seven (7) years of relevant experience<br>

<h4>Functional Description</h4>
<li>Mentor staff on the Rational Unified Process (RUP) methodology as it applies to the design of the application.
Mentoring will involve working with the IT development team to transfer the skills and knowledge for use in future
projects.</li>
<li>Assist in the prioritization of the features/requirements of the system from a technical perspective</li>
<li>Build an executable architecture prototype which addresses the critical use cases identified in the inception phase</li>
<li>Develop a software architecture document (the implementation and deployment views)</li>
<li>Mentor and assist with the creation of the data model</li>
<li>Identify and document the architecturally significant aspects of the system</li>
<li>Propose and develop candidate solutions to solve specific problems in high risk areas</li>
<li>Identify, assess and mitigate the technical risks Reviewing operational procedures</li>
<li>Assessing operational procedures</li>
<li>Documenting operational procedures</li>
<li>Documenting detailed work instructions</li>
<li>Documenting high-level processes</li>
<li>Analyzing, validating, and assessing procedures and processes</li>
<li>Identifying process improvements</li>
<li>Assessing process weaknesses and proposing alternatives</li>
<li>Creating process documentation and process models at both a high level and a detailed functional level</li>
<li>Providing knowledge transfer to resources, as required</li>
</ul>

<h4>Qualifications:</h4>
<li>Years of experience, as outlined above</li>
<li>Strong interviewing skills</li>
<li>Ability to write clear documentation for a technical audience</li>
<li>Broad-based technical knowledge (of specific technical discipline, such as IT Security or VoIP)</li>
<li>Must be adept in Word, Visio, Acrobat, and PowerPoint</li>
<li>Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, written and verbal</li>
<li>Ability to work effectively under pressure and/or to a strict deadline</li>
<li>Ability to pay attention to detail</li>
<li>Ability to generate consensus in a group setting - for Intermediate and Senior</li>
<li>Experience in analyzing, designing, and re-designing processes</li>
<li>For Intermediate and Senior demonstrated experience in:<br>
- Applying Rational Unified Process Methodology or other iterative software engineering processes, ex.
Microsoft Solution Framework (MSF)<br>
- Architecting, Designing and implementing .Net n-tier solutions<br>
- Working in an object-oriented environment<br></li>
<li>Demonstrated experience in:<br>
- Oracle 9i<br></li>
